Membership

The Manlius Senior Centre is a membership-supported organization. The annual cost is $10.00 per household. Membership runs from January through December of each year and is not pro-rated, except for those who join during the last quarter of each year. The benefits of membership include the Centre's bi-monthly newsletter, The Messenger; lower fees on certain trips; access to members-only programming; and an investment in the future of your Senior Centre. For a membership form, please contact the office by phone (315-682-7889) or e-mail (mscseniors@aol.com ).

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are highly valued Senior Centre participants who contribute significantly to our success. They teach classes, work in our Dining Room, serve on committees, plan programming, assist in fundraising, staff special events, and make possible many of the services and activities we present. We are always happy to welcome new volunteers - please phone the office at 315-682-7889 for information on how you can make a difference to the seniors in our community!

Supporting the Senior Centre

Much of our annual budget comes from donations and fundraising activities. We hold several fundraisers each year, including an annual giving campaign (the Winter Wonderland of Lights), theater benefits, and  special events such as our Flea Market and Fashion Show. To make a tax-deductible donation to the Centre, please contact us by phone (315-682-7889) or e-mail (mscseniors@aol.com). You may also donate to the Senior Centre through IGive.com, which will donate a percentage of your online purchases to the Centre. Click here for more information.

You may wish to support the Centre by donating an item from our wish list. The list changes monthly; please phone the Centre at 315-682-7889 to inquire about what items are needed. Postage stamps. envelopes, printer cartridges, and kitchen supplies such as dish towels are always appreciated!
