Our Trip Policies

Reservations may be made by mail, in person during Senior Centre business hours, or by phoning 682-7889.

A deposit must be paid for each trip within two weeks of making a reservation, or the reservation is subject to cancellation. It is each senior's responsibility to be certain the deposit is paid.

The deposit, per person, is $25 for day trips, and $50 for overnights.

The balance of each trip payment is due when you receive a reminder letter from the Senior Centre office, usually 4-6 weeks before the trip departure.

Cancellation policy: If you cancel before our trip provider is paid, you will receive a refund of your deposit. If you cancel after that point, you will receive a refund if a substitute is found to take your place on the trip. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended.

Enjoy a Thousands Islands luncheon cruise in the "Heart of the Islands," from Kingston through the Admiralty Islands. Tours of Kingston and Fort Henry, including the Garrison Parade, follow the cruise.

We'll travel to Auburn's Merry-Go-Round Playhouse to enjoy this entertaining musical, which has been hugely successful in regional theaters around the country. Lunch with your choice of entrees (scrod/beef/pork) at Springside Inn is the perfect accompaniment to the show.

Take in the spectacular sights on this fall visit to "the Grand Canyon of the East." Included: guided tour of the park, lunch at the Glen Iris Inn, the William Pryor Letchworth Museum, and the Mount Morris Dam, the largest dam of its type east of the Mississippi River.

This three-night tour includes the highpoints of the lovely Connecticut shoreline. Visit The Groton Submarine Force Museum, home of the USS Nautilus; tour the Breakers and Beechwood mansions, the Mystic Seaport living history museum, the US Coast Guard Academy, and the Pequot Museum; and enjoy a cruise of scenic Newport Harbor. Price includes: 3 nights’ accommodations at The Holiday Inn Express Mystic; 4 dinners; deluxe continental breakfast daily; roundtrip motorcoach transportation, tax, and driver’s gratuity.
