Covid tests are available in the Centre office. Annual Giving Campaign
Our Annual Giving campaign is one of our most important yearly fundraising events. Each holiday season we send a mailing to every MSAC member, as well as the entire Manlius community, requesting support for the many programs and resources that we provide for local seniors. These include our affordable and nutritious lunch program, as well as our low-cost exercise classes. The Centre receives no taxpayer support from town, county, state or federal agencies for any of our programs. The village of Manlius generously provides use of the facility, as well as an annual disbursement that covers approximately 28 percent of our yearly budget. Your annual donation to the MSAC Annual Giving campaign makes a true difference to your senior centre. Contributions received before December 30 will be listed in the Eagle Bulletin throughout the holiday season. You may designate your contribution in memory or honor of a loved one or special occasion. Please make your check payable to "MSAC' and mail it to our office at: 1 Arkie Albanese Ave., Manlius, NY 13104. Or, if you prefer to make a donation using a credit card or PayPal, please click on the yellow button in the upper right-hand corner of this page. If you haven't received a letter by December, please call the office at 315-682-7889. Your generous support for the senior centre is deeply appreciate. Senior Centre Closed The senior centre will be closed Monday, Dec. 25, for Christmas. Upcoming Events For more information about upcoming events, please click here. About the MSAC
Celebrating our 70th anniversary (1953-2023), the Manlius Senior Activity Centre is a recreational senior center with more than 600 members. The Centre is conveniently located in the village of Manlius, New York, adjacent to the Manlius Swan Pond. Our facility is in the same building as the Manlius Library, Police Department, and Village offices.
Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM, we offer a variety of services and activities for senior adults. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our program, which includes exercise classes, memory-enhancement activities, social gatherings, and trips, as well as a fitness room, games, entertainment, speakers, and lunches served five days per week.
Our Centre is a non-profit and is funded through donations, fundraising activities, program fees, and subscriptions. In addition, we receive a generous annual grant from the Village of Manlius that covers approximately 28 percent of our annual budget. The Centre receives no additional government funds from any federal, state, county, or local entity. The support of our members and local community is the foundation of our success.
