UPCOMING "SMART DRIVER" CLASSES
The senior centre will offer the aarp "smart driver" program again on October 22nd and october 29th (both mondays). The two-session class starts at 9:45am each day. reservations are required, and you must attend both classes. a noon lunch break is scheduled during each class; we encourage you to make lunch reservations at the centre on those days. the class cost is $20 for aarp members, $25 for non-members. checks must be payable to aarp. to reserve a spot, please phone the centre at 315-682-7889. you can also take the class online; to do so, please visit the aarp website at www.aarpdriversafety.org.
More than 100 attendees enjoyed the Senior Centre's Jazz and Wine event on March 22nd, which featured Lock 52, pianist Tom Reitano, and vocalists Sadie Fridley and Andrea Calarco. The Centre surpassed its goal for the evening, in large part due to our successful silent auction. The following local merchants and businesses generously supported this important fundraising event:

ANNUAL VETERANS LUNCHEON HELD ON NOVEMBER 9TH
The Manlius Senior Centre was honored to hold its annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon on November 9th. Veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the War in Viet Nam, and peacetime were present. A sell-out crowd enjoyed an excellent meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, and a flag-decorated cake. Above: some of the veterans present posed for a group photo.
